Clínica Sancho, has a team of ophthalmologist specialists with more than 35 years of experience, directing their efforts to provide quality ophthalmological services and with the best technology, which have as their objective, promote an optimal visual health in the population. From the hand of the Dr. Byron Sancho, it has established itself as a quality ophthalmology center specializing in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of multiple eye conditions within the country and Latin America. The clinic has the accreditations of the National Institute of Donation and Transplantation of Organs and Tissues of Ecuador (INDOT), ACESS and RPIS.

The clinic has several national and international recognitions, the most recent, in the month of July 2021, awarded by the Latin America Quality Institute (LAQI) as “Ecuadorian Company of the year 2021” within the health sector, with a special mention to Dr. Byron Sancho. Likewise, it has been awarded by the Chamber of Commerce of Quito as a merit to its entrepreneurial spirit and social approach (2010) and recipient of international recognition by the International Organization for Medical Training and Research (IOCIM, 2009), as the best company concerned about the quality of life in Latin America.

Our center has been awarded as the best research work promoting the quality of life, to Dr. Byron Sancho and to the best company concerned about the quality of life in Latin America by the International Organization for Training and Medical Research.

The Chamber of Commerce of Quito also awarded the entrepreneurial prize to Dr. Byron Sancho. It currently has INDOT and Ministry of Health accreditations to perform corneal transplants, being one of the private centers with the largest volume and successful cases in the ophthalmological sector of Ecuador.
