The Specular Microscopy
Any person with cornea, cataract and after undergoing a surgical corneal or anterior segment is important to perform a specular microscopy, as it helps determine:
- Evaluate the endothelial vitality of the cornea
- Ocular pachymetry
This examination must be done prior to all previous segment surgery:
- Cataract Surgery
- Glaucoma Surgery
- Cornea transplant
