Clínica Sancho, has been working for more than 30 years with a social focus. Thus, in cooperation with various institutions, such as the Special Commission on Health and Values of the group of Ladies of the Pan American Roundtable, they have been providing ophthalmological care services in vulnerable sectors and rural areas around the country.
In 2017 and 2018, more than 800 patients, between children and adults, from peripheral areas of Pichincha, Chimborazo, among other provinces, benefited from these services. In addition to ophthalmological care, complementary services such as pediatrics and otorhinolaryngology were provided. Medical care has also been extended to several immigrants, including Venezuelans, Cubans and Colombians.
Clínica Sancho, has been characterized as an Ophthalmological Center with a social focus. Hand in hand with its Managers, Dr. Byron Sancho and Mrs. Maritza Pontón de Sancho have constantly worked to provide services to those most in need. That is why we are working on making agreements with humanitarian aid institutions to extend the range and coverage of services to vulnerable groups.
